The Ministry of Outreach at St. Gregory's has focused on a small number of "signature" ministries. The guiding wisdom has been to focus our resources with the intent of creating the largest possible impact with our efforts. As we grow we intend to continue to support these signature ministries, however, we also envision the Outreach Commission as the ministry that guides St. Gregory's into living ever more faithfully into our vision of "Sharing God's love by caring for each other and all in need with the relentless compassion of Christ "

In response to this vision, the Outreach Commission:

•   Encourages ("incubates") new ministries in response to the needs in our community and world.
•   Affirms the ministries of justice and compassion already being conducted by our members.
•   Encourages the ministries of our members to be rooted in the ministry structure of the church where they can benefit from the affirmation, support, encouragement and blessing of the St. Gregory's community of faith.

The above list of ministries does not include special things done at St. Gregory's, like Hurrican Katrina help, Nativity Episcopal Church in Pahokee, Recovery Support Group for Young People, Save Darfur Coalition of S. Palm Beach County, the Special Fund, the Rector's Discretionary Fund, shelter for the Katrina family and for a parishioner. We might also include The Environment Committee.
