Dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, the preservation of the family, and the care and treatment of abused and neglected children.

Kids in Distress has been appointed by Child & Family Connections to be one of three primary foster care service providers in Palm Beach County. Our innovative program matches a child's individual needs and situation with the desires and strengths of potential foster/adoptive parents and then provides support to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week both during and after placement. The requested funds will be used to recruit, train and support foster families in Boca Raton. There are currently 25 children living in 19 foster homes in Boca Raton. There is a need for mor ehomes. Boca Raton residents make up 50% of our training classes.
