Family Promise of South Palm Beach County believes that every child deserves a home and exists to provide temporary shelter for homeless families in South Palm Beach County so they can achieve lasting independence.

We are a network of churches and synagogues who shelter, feed, support and mentor homeless families on the premises of our congregations and in our day center. We began helping our first families on November 1, 2008. In our ten months of effort, four families have graduated; they have a home and a job. We are presently developing the infrastructure and relationships to do this work well and to provide ongoing support to our guests and former guests. Other helping agencies are very important as partners.

We will have our first fundraiser on November 5 at the Boca Raton Museum of Art from 6:00-8:00 pm. Tickets will be priced at $25 so we can reach the most number of people possible. We do expect donations beyond that from many who will be so called.
